With The Angel Initiative, I help grow a new generation of women investors—mobilizing capital, confidence, and community to close the gender funding gap from both sides of the table.
Changing who gets funded and who gets to fund
Too many brilliant, ambitious women are told their ideas are “too early,” “too niche,” or “too risky.”
I invest to change that narrative—not just with capital, but with belief, guidance, and long-term support. I’m on a personal mission to close the gender funding gap.
But closing the gender funding gap also means changing who sits on the other side of the table.
That’s why I’m equally committed to helping more women become angel investors—through awareness, speaking, training, community, and events like Her Capital Connection, which I initiated to spark action across the ecosystem. I’d be happy to explore opportunities as a speaker, trainer, jury or panel member to share insights on angel investing, gender-diverse investing, and the fundraising landscape more broadly.
This isn’t just about backing great founders. It’s about shifting the power dynamics of early-stage investing—so that more women get to build, fund, and shape what comes next.
